Volunteer uses own vehicle to pick up prepared hot meals and deliver them to seniors in an apartment building nearby. Every Thursday, between 11:00 and and 1:00 pm, mileage reimbursed.

Cycling Pilot

Vancouver Cycling Without Age Society is a registered charity that provides recreational trishaw (3-wheeled bikes with a 2-person bench on the front) rides to seniors, and their families. Our goal is to break seniors free from social isolation and loneliness. Volunteers, known as Pilots, are the public face of VCWAS who provide the trishaw rides to seniors and their families, connect with the community, and represent the organisation while out on the bike lanes of Vancouver.

Volunteer at a Nursing Home

We are recruiting volunteers who are willing to spend 1 -2 hours a week visiting and doing activities with socially isolated seniors and to provide companionship through weekly visits.
