The Neighbourhood Group Community Services is a social agency serving more than 40,000 low-income people and families in 30 locations across Toronto. With more than 1,000 staff and the support of over 600 volunteers, our free programs and services address the most pressing issues in our community: poverty, homelessness, mental health, unemployment, social isolation, substance abuse, conflict resolution, violence, youth alienation, and the settlement of newcomers.

Eviction Prevention in the Community (EPIC) Worker
The Corner Drop-In serves individuals who are low-income, socially isolated, homeless and hard to house. Our inter-disciplinary team provides resources, counseling and referrals that assist with long term solutions to individuals’ housing, health and financial needs. We specialize in mental health and harm reduction services.The position provides mobile, rapid eviction prevention services to vulnerable households across greater Toronto as referred by the City’s Central Referral Centre.
Voluntary Trustee Program TCAT Case Manager
As a member of the UHHS department, this position provides direct case management supports to adults on a complete range of complex issues, including health, financial, housing, legal and life skills issues. Working from a harm reduction, trauma informed perspective, case managers provide extensive direct one-to-one support, home visit and telephone contact to assist participants in identifying and achieving self-determined goals.
