In a group of 2-7 movers/drivers, guided by a detailed itinerary, volunteers will load/unload the client’s belongings into a vehicle and transport the client to the predetermined location. OVS-VSU Intake Worker

The Intake Worker is responsible for the assessment and triage of an extensive computer log or queue of police reports at our partnering agency and subsequently making appropriate referrals to Ottawa Victim Services. This position is a secondment to the Ottawa Police Service Victim Support Unit at 474 Elgin Street, working in office 5 days a week. A full police background clearance is also required in order to be the successful candidate.

Drop-in Worker – 4 months, full time

The Drop-In Program Worker works with the drop-in team to ensure the smooth operation of the Drop-In program and its related services to PARC members (a member is defined as any or all of the following: psychiatric survivor, marginalized, homeless/under-housed or socially isolated person).

Peer Engagement Coordinator

The Peer Engagement Coordinator will lead the delivery of a culturally grounded Indigenous Peer Program to provide meaningful opportunities for peers to engage in activities related to HIV/HCV/STBBI prevention and interventions in Toronto. The position will lead the mentorship of Peers and coordinate the Peer Program including creating education presentations and supporting Peers in community outreach.

Elect-to-Work

Lumenus Community Services is looking for dedicated and flexible Elect-to-work staff to provide relief to our youth (12-18 years of age) and adults (18+) who are either Dually Diagnosed and/or present with Mental Health issues. The programs focus on assessing the client’s needs and helping them to develop their communication, social, life and anger management skills while they live in a collaborative team environment.
