Street Health SOCK DRIVE

URGENT NEED for SOCKS at STREET HEALTH COMMUNITY NURSING FOUNDATION.
Street Health is located at Dundas and Sherbourne and offers a variety of low barrier and equitable community-based services for people who are homeless, under-housed, and street involved.
Maintaining good foot health for people experiencing homelessness is crucial to maintaining access to food, shelter, medical care, and other community supports and services. A critical component of foot care that most take for granted are a pair of new socks! Feet work overtime when they don’t have a cozy home to return to each night. Our Sock Drive hopes to provide warmth, comfort, and mobility to members of the Street Health community through NEW SOCKS.
We are looking to our community members for donations of new socks for our Sock Drive. Socks are the most needed item of clothing for homeless people, but the least donated. Although all socks are welcome, tube socks and wool socks in larger sizes are in high demand. Street Health will be accepting Sock Drive donations from March 29th until April 18th, 2022. These donations can be dropped off during our hours listed below, or you can call/text to arrange a pickup from one of our team members.
