Everyone has someone. A family member or friend. Someone to provide social, emotional, mental, spiritual and material support. Someone to be there in a time of need. If only this were true for everyone in the Carlington Community.
This is the heart of a healthy and happy community. People thrive when they have meaningful relationships and close connections.
Unfortunately, many in our community have been negatively affected by social isolation and loneliness. Many are suffering from mental and physical ailments that are only made worse with nobody to walk with through their situation.
At Carlington Community Connection we believe that we can offer a safe, supportive and empowering presence so that the people of our community can establish meaningful connections.
We are looking someone who is passionate and willing to contribute their skills to help us fulfill our mission and vision.
Someone who can:
– develop and create engaging content
– effectively execute social media strategies
– display good design and technical ability
– develop the presentation, layout and functionality of the website
– assist in fundraising strategies
– work in collaboration with the Program Coordinator to communicate the message and mission
Hours and availability will be discussed during interview. Onsite work will be kept to a minimum with most work done remotely.
