Position Summary:We are looking for a talented business operations professional to help us achieve the next level of scale and impact. The candidate will oversee and enhance the organization's business operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This role will focus on optimizing processes, managing key projects, leading a team to achieve operational excellence, and spearheading fundraising initiatives.

Description

Directors are expected to work at least 10 hours weekly and respond to emails within two days.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize business operations.

  • Oversee the execution of key business projects and initiatives.

  • Manage and mentor a team of business operations professionals.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational activities with organizational goals.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business processes and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Prepare and present operational reports and insights to senior leadership.

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support the organization's financial goals.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and funding partners.

  • Prepare grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and fundraising materials.

  • Organize and manage fundraising events and campaigns.

  • Track and report on fundraising performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to become an integral part of the senior leadership team

  • Become quickly knowledgeable of operational processes, business rules, constituencies, participants, and operating environment.

  • Provide strategic oversight and identify opportunities to refine processes, increase efficiency, and reduce expenses across all operational areas.

  • A vital member of the Management team, bringing an operations perspective into organizational strategy.

  • Proficiency in operations management and process optimization.

  • Experience in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Master's degree

  • Five years of full-time paid corporate/non-profit work experience.
