Pay it For-Art (PIFA) is a new not-for-profit organization devoted to using the transformative power of art to benefit our communities. We proudly operate under a 'pay what you can' model, ensuring that all proceeds are directed towards vital causes in the areas of environment, poverty relief, and increasing access.

Role overview:

As an Artist Outreach Coordinator at PIFA, you will be at the forefront of our artist engagement strategy. Your role will be pivotal in developing and executing outreach efforts to recruit artists and build a robust network of creative contributors on social media and beyond. This is an opportunity to create lasting systems and procedures that will drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic outreach programs to recruit artists and secure art donations.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for artist outreach.
  • Utilize social media platforms to connect with artists, share our mission, and expand our community presence.
  • Cultivate relationships with artists and serve as the primary liaison between them and PIFA.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight artist contributions and stories.
  • Organize and maintain a database of artist contacts, interactions, and artwork statuses.
  • Stay abreast of trends and opportunities in the art community that can enhance PIFA's outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outreach, community engagement, or a related field, preferably within the arts or non-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of artists.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently to establish new procedures.
  • A passion for the arts and community service.
