The Business + Higher Education Roundtable, a national non-profit focused on solving skills, talent, and innovation challenges, invites HR and Talent managers and directors from across Canada to participate in a series of roundtable events we are conducting in partnership with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
These roundtables will focus on workplace accessibility. Our goal is to better understand the challenges and realities that employers face in recruiting and supporting new employees with disabilities, stories of success, and what is still needed to help. These roundtables will help with the creation of public employer tools and resources that align with what employers really need and would actually use.
Please note, participants are not required to have any expertise in workplace accessibility, or equity, diversity, and inclusion. In fact, we are keen to hear from the experiences and needs of HR and talent management that are not experts in these areas of work. Participants will be compensated with a $100 gift card of their choice.
