Barnes Management Group is pleased to invite you to our Virtual Job Fair: Access OAP Recruitment. This event will outline some exciting career opportunities and explain the application process. We have been hired by a Consortium of agencies, including Accerta, Autism Ontario and Health Care 365 to assist them in the recruitment process to hire over 200 employees across Ontario.
We would like to invite you to join us for a virtual job fair to hear about the exciting career opportunities that might align with your education, experience, and goals to make a difference in the lives of families trying to access services to support their child to thrive while facing the challenges of a diagnosis of autism.
These Job Fairs are being offered to support our recruitment of eligible applicants for Service Navigation, Determination of Needs, Family Support, Communications Coordinator, and Program Service Coordinator (including bilingual) positions in the Access to Ontario Autism Program (Access OAP). The Consortium has been contracted by the provincial government to support families of children overcoming the challenges of autism who are seeking services, supports and funding through the provincial Access OAP.
To increase the knowledge of eligible applicants and expand our outreach to communities across Ontario, we plan to host several virtual job fair events. See the link below to register to attend, and feel free to share this event with others who may be interested.
When
On August 23, 2022, at 1:30pm EST, we will be hosting a virtual job fair that will allow potential candidates to hear about the different career opportunities with the Consortium, gain an understanding of the job opportunities, application, screening, and interview processes, and ask questions directly to the recruitment team.
What to expect
The virtual job fair sessions will last about 1 hour, and you will have an opportunity to hear from the CEOs of the Consortium organizations, some front-line staff who work in the organizations, and from families who access the services. In addition, the recruitment team will be online to talk about the application, screening, and interview processes you can expect.
Our Planned Agenda
- Introduction/Purpose of the event: Meet David Barnes, Barnes Management Group
- Participants will be advised how they can engage throughout the session (see notes under VI. Open Q&A)
- Dialogue with the 3 CEO/ED’s: Hear from the senior executives of the three hiring agencies. A round table discussion with all 3 CEO’s will be shared. 15 mins
- Dialogue with Staff: Hear from individual staff who work, or have worked in the field, and perhaps even in a position that is being recruited. 15 mins
- Dialogue with a parent or advocate: Hear from family members who have experience in working with autism service providers, and/or advocating on behalf of a child who is overcoming the challenges of autism. 10 mins
- BMG: Interactive discussion on recruitment process, job postings, how to apply, screening stages, and other considerations interested applicants should know. 10 mins
- Open Q&A: All participants can ask questions directly or through the chat room.
- Process: For QA participants can submit questions to a moderator that will be read out to the group and answered, or they can raise their hands and ask online. They can remain anonymous if they wish. Participants can request a personal follow-up via email after the event. Q&A’s will be documented and shared with participants along with the job postings after the event.
