Our organizational mission is to provide youth who are marginalized or living in poverty with the opportunity to live wholesome, successful and enriching lives through offering engaging and dynamic psycho-social programs and services, while encouraging young people to stimulate positive social change within their own communities. We primarily serve young people who are impacted by homelessness, and have a wider reach to those experiencing poverty. Our programs regularly serve youth involved with the legal system; 2SLGBTQ+ identified youth; BIPOC youth; and youth exiting the child welfare system. We currently offer 4 pillars of programming (1. Professional and Experiential Learning; 2. Early Engagement; 3. Health & Wellness; and 4. Thought Leadership & Public Awareness). Some of our services include a peer mental health support program (known as Rising Together); a skill development program focusing on areas of art, culture and history, in partnership with the Royal Ontario Museum (known as DiscoverU), a youth mentorship program (known as GoTheDistance) and a annual leadership camp known as RISE Camp. Our services are all holistic in nature including applicable wrap around services.
