SPECTRUM, Waterloo Region’s Rainbow Community Space

SPECTRUM is Waterloo Region's Rainbow Community Space. We offer more than 20 different groups and activities each month, including: transgender peer support groups, games nights, SPECTRUM Prime for LGBTQ2+ adults 55+, and Rainbow Multicultural Connect. We also offer services including an LGBTQ2+ Legal Aid Clinic, a lending library of books and movies, an online gender-neutral washroom map of our community, monthly calendars of LGBTQ2+ events, and a resource directory of LGBTQ2+ friendly businesses and organizations. In partnership with the OK2BME program at KW Counselling Services we provide mental health counselling for LGBTQ2+ adults. Finally, we offer education and training in LGBTQ2+ cultural competency.
