Pathways Serious Mental Illness Society is a volunteer-governed, front-line organization based on the North Shore working primarily with families. It is a non-profit society with a small staff, about 80 volunteers and 300 active members.
We are families of loved ones living with a serious mental illness helping other families with this shared experience in British Columbia.
The serious mental illnesses of our loved ones include anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, concurrent disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia.
How do we help? Through support, education and advocacy, and the sharing of information and resources related to serious mental illness.
