Way back in 2011, we launched a little Twitter campaign that we called #SpiritofGiving. Every day we tweeted an idea for a random act of kindness, encouraging people from all corners of the country to do something that would brighten someone else’s day. Little did we know this would quickly become an annual tradition!
#SpiritofGiving is now back for its fifth year and, as in years past, we’ll be tweeting every day from our @CharityVillage account a suggestion for a random act of kindness. We’d love for you to join in as well – tweet your ideas with the #SpiritofGiving hashtag and also tell us about the random acts of kindness that you’ve done this holiday season.
To get started, here is a great list of 101 easy ideas from BuzzFeed. You can also check out Kindness Canada for ideas or browse the resources available from Random Act of Kindness Day. We’ve also compiled a list of ideas below.
