Mental Health Film Festival on World Mental Health Day in Oakville, ON

October 10th is celebrated as the Mental Health Day in the world. MEHAR is a nonprofit organization committed to spreading awareness around mental health and removing stigma through the powerful medium of art. We have organized the celebration of 2023 World Mental Health in partnership with Film.Ca Cinema, Oakville and will screen 4 short films created by MEHAR on the topics of Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Addictions and Depression. We have also organized a Q&A session with a Psychiatrist and mental health experts after screening of our short films.
We will run this event in 2 showtimes; 9:30 am and 6 pm. This event is free and you must submit RSVP so that we can arrange for tea/coffee and refreshments. This will be an excellent opportunity to gain understanding around mental health through very captivating and informative films created by MEHAR.
