Risk Management – The Role of the Governance Professional

“In my role, I am expected to provide oversight over risk management in my organization. How can I do that when I don’t know anything about it, and nobody is available to help me?” Is that how you feel or how your Board members feel? If so, this course is for you!
This course will introduce risk management concepts, models, and practices to non-risk management professionals. The content is intended to assist those charged with governance and oversight roles, and those support roles, with the information and guidance needed to effectively discharge their duties. Particular focus will be placed on describing the role that Governance Professionals could and should play both in risk management programs and in associated oversight activities.
