Newcomer Youth: Connections for Success (NYCS)
New to Canada? In high school? Thinking about a future career? Then this is the program for you! Explore different careers, get volunteer hours, and gain valuable skills to build your resume.
NYCS includes drop-in workshops on:
- Career exploration
- Information about colleges and universities in Canada
- An understanding of financial options for education
- Access to volunteer opportunities related to potential careers
- Connections with mentors
Are you eligible?
- Open to Permanent Residents, Convention Refugees
- Must be a newcomer to Canada
- Must be 13-18 years old
