Participate in professional development sessions and workshops to help you succeed in your Canadian journey. All sessions are presented by industry experts and OACETT members, many of whom are successful internationally educated professionals.

- 9:30 a.m. Welcoming remarks: Who is OACETT, and what do we do for IEPs
- 10:30 a.m. WES (World Education Services) information session on the credential evaluation process
- 11:20 a.m. Welkom-u app presentation
- 12:00 p.m. Keynote speaker: My immigrant journey in Canada (Special guest – TBA)
- 1:00 p.m. IEPs Leader Forum: speakers from colleges, and leading companies, speak about success and the Canadian journey
- 2:10 p.m. Salary review for engineering technology professionals in Ontario, presentation by Environics Analytics
- 2:50 p.m. – Interview skills workshop and closing remarks
- 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Special in-person networking event with industry professionals. Taking place in the Greater Toronto Area (location TBA)
All sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will take place online over the Whova app. The evening event, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., will take place in person in the Greater Toronto Area. Registration for both events is FREE!

The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) is a non-profit, self-governing, professional association of over 25,000 members.
OACETT is Ontario’s independent certifying body for engineering and applied science technicians and technologists and confers the designations C.Tech. (Certified Technician) and C.E.T. (Certified Engineering Technologist). These designations are recognized across Canada by employers and other engineering professionals. The A.Sc.T. (Applied Science Technologist) designation is no longer conferred but is still used by some OACETT members.
OACETT promotes the interests of engineering and applied science technicians and technologists in industry, educational institutions, the public, and government.
