Career Advancement and Mentorship Program

CAMP is a free online career planning program offered to women who are changing careers and/or unsure of their next steps.
There are weekly workshops for 8 weeks either on Thursdays beginning on April 27- June 15 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM or Mondays beginning on May 16-July 11 for 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (no class on May 23).
The topics that will be covered in the 8 weeks include: identifying your skills, finding your purpose, defining your values, labour market information and research, occupational research, research plan, informational interviews, goal setting, action planning, and a variety of self-assessments.
At the end of the 8 weeks, you will meet with the Career Strategist/Facilitator to discuss your progress and desired occupation/industry, and then you will meet with a mentor in the field of your choice.
Eligibility requirements:
Have a current individual income level of $36,114 or less
Be unclear about their career direction or thinking about making a change
This program is free for women who are making under $36,411. There is a fee for the workbook which is $38 + $3.27 admin fee= $41.33.
Be able to commit to attending the program one evening a week for 8 weeks
