About the presenters

As Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, Olivia Sonnenberg contributes to Volunteer Toronto’s community outreach objectives by coordinating both their information sessions and their participation in volunteer fairs and career expos across the city. In doing so, she helps newcomers, jobseekers, youth, and seniors navigate the process of searching for and securing meaningful volunteer roles. As the lead on all signature events, Olivia plans Volunteer Toronto’s Legacy Awards, a celebration of volunteerism held every National Volunteer Week, and the Youth Expo, the city’s largest annual volunteer fair. Olivia came to Volunteer Toronto with extensive volunteer experience of her own and a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto’s Munk School.
